Lift Truck Operator Certification

ARPAC instructors are experienced with backgrounds in adult education and have operational experience from a wide variety of applications, including industrial lift truck equipment. Our thorough training program is delivered in an interactive classroom environment, either at our facility or your own.

Our instructors follow the current CSA standards for all of our training programs. The three components of proper certification are:

  1. Theory presentation
  2. Written test
  3. Practical assessment

Classroom

Our comfortable classrooms are designed to provide multimedia presentations for small to medium-sized groups. Instructors introduce safety protocols while operational techniques are tailored to your workplace. Proper work practices are reviewed and interactive discussion is encouraged. A final written test is taken at the end of the session.

Practical Evaluation

Following the successful completion of the classroom component, students are evaluated on their ability to safely operate the same class of equipment they were trained on. Work-site hazard analysis, pre-operational inspections, re-fueling/charging and proper shut-down procedures are conducted. Successful students will be certified as CSA compliant operators and will be issued with a license.

Due Diligence

As your partner in safety, ARPAC is committed to supporting your business by providing you with the records you need to show compliance with required regulations. All supporting documentation of training programs will be supplied to the employer for the employee’s personnel file. For additional peace-of-mind, we also keep documented records of all training and certification. We will contact you when your operators are due for re-training.
