Service Technician – Victoria, BC
Expected overall compensation will range from 90,000 to 105,000 per year, and will be determined based on journeyperson status, applicable industry experience and background, and working available overtime.
Job Summary
Arpac is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Vancouver Island Liftruck division. The ideal candidate is a lift truck, automotive or heavy-duty journeyperson with experience servicing Forklifts and material handling equipment. A combination of education and experience will be considered.

A Typical Day
Your day to day will include performing repairs, maintenance, and inspections on material handling equipment at our customer sites. We will supply you with a company vehicle which you can taken home each night - no more commuting in your own vehicle burning expensive gas! You will use your company-supplied cell phone to call our dispatch, team, who will schedule your day from one customer job site to another. Everyday will always look different!

Requirements
- Applicable lift truck, automotive or heavy duty service experience
And/or:
- Automotive or Heavy Duty service technician ticket (Journeyperson)
- Clean and valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Customer service focus
- Good communication skills (written/verbal)
- Attention to detail
- Problem solver with a can-do attitude
