Human Resources Coordinator – Delta

Arpac is on the search to grow our Human Resources Department. This position is onsite at our Delta office and is responsible for full-cycle recruitment, HR/ payroll administration and coordination, and related projects.

Intrigued? Here is what your day-to-day would include:
- Full cycle recruitment
- Conducting New Employee and Safety Orientations in Branch
- Scheduling and coordinating safety related employee training and testing such as first aid, AED, safety committee, investigation/ hazard assessment, and hearing conservation
- Administer payroll and benefit programs including extended health benefits and rrsp program
- Administrative duties including but not limited to maintaining database dates and files, attending meetings and taking minutes, update templates, updating organizational charts, and maintaining the company sharepoint and employee database systems
- Create and provide employment related documents for employees
- Coordinate Performance Appraisal process
- Maintain statistics and metrics of the safety program
- Create and send out monthly informational emails, SharePoint site, send tool allowance information

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration/Human Resources is required
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience supporting health and safety initiatives would be considered an asset
- Experience with Dayforce would be considered an asset
- Exposure to the forklift industry or industrial recruiting would be considered an asset
